Modern Day Prophets revealed, are they True or False Prophets?

Here is important information about some modern day professed Prophets. Are they false or true Prophets?The interesting things about these self proclaimed Prophets is that they keep the true 7th day Sabbath and they seem to speak to the law and to the testimony… But I have looked at some of their predictions and prophecies from the following web-sites and I have concluded that they are false Prophets. The one in particular Ronald Weinland has also predicted that a nuclear explosion will take place in the USA between Feb.17,2008 and July 16, 2008, and will kill thousands of people. Today is July 9,08 and nothing has happened yet. But that is not the only reason that I have concluded that they are false prophets.

They teach some truthful biblical points many the same as SDA’s. But they also teach that the “Abomination of Desolation” spoken of by Christ in Matthew 24 and ref. to Daniel chapters 11 and 12. Ronald says that this 1335 day prophecy of Daniel began in Feb. 08 of this year and he describes what he thinks it is and claims that the Lord showed him that many of these prophecies will be full-filled this year in 2008. He also claims to have special light on the “seven thunders” of Revelation and also on many other things. I thank God that a true knowledge of His word and the writings of Ellen White helps us, so we the elect will not be deceived. Also, if Satan is using them to teach the false things about the “Abomination of Desolation” Do you think we SDA’s should be studying these things more and should we be proclaiming these true Prophecies of Daniel 11 and 12 and Matthew 24 on this subject? The Lord Jesus Warns Us About the “Abomination of Desolation” The Lord Jesus told us we would be persecuted and hated, and he also called attention to the prophecy in Daniel 8: in Matthew 24: He said:“Therefore when you see the abomination of desolation, spoken of by Daniel the prophet, (see Dan. 8:11-12. and Dan.12:8-13) standing in the holy place.” (‘Whoever reads, let him understand’) then let those who are in Judea flee to the mountains…“ Matthew 24:15,16. And in Daniel
12—beginning with verse (8) “Although I heard, I did not understand. Then I said, “My lord, what shall be the end of these things?” (9) And he said, “Go your way, Daniel, for the words are closed up and sealed till time of the end. (10) Many shall be purified, made white, and refined, but
the wicked shall do wickedly; and none of the wicked shall understand, but the wise shall understand. (11) “And from the time that the daily sacrifice is taken away, and the abomination of desolation is set up, there shall be one thousand two hundred and ninety days. (1290 days) (12)Blessed is he who waits, and comes to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days. (1,335 days) (13) “But you, go your way till the end;for you shall rest, and will arise to your inheritance at the end of the
days.” Daniel 12:8-13.

What is this ‘abomination of desolation?’ I believe it has dual applications, for the generations in the times of Christ and for the future last day generations also. To the Judean Christians, it was when Pagan Rome used its government powers to conquered Jerusalem the Holy lands and ruled and persecuted Christians, the abomination was the absents of religious freedom and the “Standards” the Roman soldiers carried showed the eagle and the sun- it was about sun worshiping too false teachings. For our time future application, it will be Papal Rome,united with the USA that will also take away religious freedom and command worship on Sunday and will persecute Seventh-Day Christians in the USA and the world. And they will establish a false religion using the government to enforce it, allowing no religious freedom and and they will take away the true meaning of Christ death and resurrection,and change God’s true Ten Commandments and enforce the Catholic version of the Ten Commandments, leaving people in their sin un-confessed and un-repented of.

Christ death, Resurrection and Ministry in the Heavenly Sanctuary will be substituted by this counterfeit religion of the Anti-Christ. Daniel was told that the taking way of the daily sacrifice was applicable to the last days. The Little Horn Papacy power will substitute Christ daily ministries with their false Priesthood—counterfeiting the true Ministry of Christ. The Catholic Priest claim the power to forgive the sinner and cleanse them. They take away the ministry of Christ and claim for
themselves the position of Christ. They prevent the sinner from going directly to Christ whom is the only one able to give forgiveness and cleansing of sin.“Who will have all men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth. For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the
man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all…1Timothy 2:5-6.And when they take away freedom of religion and enforce by government legislation Sunday worship it is the “abomination of desolation.”

And about the Abomination of Desolation Ellen White says: “The time is not far distant, when, like the early disciples, we shall be forced to seek a refuge in desolate and solitary places. As the siege of
Jerusalem by the Roman armies was the signal for flight to the Judean Christians, so the assumption of power on the part of our nation [the United States] in the decree enforcing the papal Sabbath will be a warning to us. It will then be time to leave the large cities, preparatory to leaving the
smaller ones for retired homes in secluded places among the mountains…” Maranatha p.180.1

So here we read that the abomination of desolation is related to when Sunday worship is enforced in the USA ‘the papal Sabbath.When this takes place, it is a final sign that it is time to leave the large cities. I believe we should leave long before this, but this would be the latest we should live in or near the cities and if we are still trying to proclaim the gospel in the cities, this is time to go, to live in
rural country areas and we should be prepared to leave even the rural country areas we are living in as we see the prophecies full-filling and the Lord instructing us as we prepare to meet Him at the end of the time prophecy of Daniel 12:12.”And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for the elect’s sake those days will be shortened.” Matthew 24:22.

Now the interpretation I am going to give of these last two chapters Daniel chapters (11) and (12) and verses also 11 and 12 in Daniel chapter (12) about the ‘Abomination of Desolation’—are just my own. First, I believe in Daniel chapter (11): were it talks about the war between the kings of the north and
south, the king of the north is a future prophecy It will be when Europe-Rome—Papal Rome will go to war with the Muslims Nations and Arab Nations of Egypt and will conquer Iraq, Iran and Israel. Iran is the king of the south. Papal Rome the kingdom north of Iraq, will set up a kingdom in Iraq
which is ancient Babylon and a kingdom in Israel too, but will continue to rule from the Vatican in Rome. Also, the popular Christian world is looking for Christ to come back to Israel and also for a new temple to be built there, I believe the Anti-Christ and Satan will give them what they are looking for
they will impersonate Christ and deceive many. Like the prophecy of Daniel chapter (2) showed us these kingdoms will not last and will be destroyed by God who will establish on the new earth and everlasting kingdom, the New Jerusalem. Not the old temple in Israel but the city of God coming down from heaven as John saw in vision in Revelation (22)

The prophecy of Daniel chapter (11) and (12) are not related to ancient Jerusalem, but are future prophecies related to last day events. And if you look on a world atlas map you will see that geographically these prophecies all fits with Daniel chapter (11), between the kings of the north and south. Also the other non-Christian Countries like China, India, Russia etcetera, will join the beast out of need for economic reasons, no one can buy or sell unless…and by there beliefs in common with spiritualism immortality of the soul, demons-devils will perform with signs and wonders even working miracles.

Also, I believe these 1,290 days of Daniel chapter 12:11, are related to the future and that unlike other day-year prophecies we already studied in Daniel chapter (8)and (9) that these days are literal,(1,290-1,335 literal days not years)but rather are about 3 and half years. The reason I believe this is true because the Angel gave what I believe is a literal interpretation of days. In addition to
calling it 1,290 days. Lets read it: “And one said to the man clothed in linen,which was upon the waters of the river, How long shall it be to the end of these wonders? And I heard the man clothed in linen, which was upon the waters of the river, when he held up his right hand and his left hand unto
heaven, and sware by him that liveth for ever that it shall be for a time,times, and an half; ( time = 1 year, times = 2 years, and half of time = half a year)three and one half years.And I believe by the angel adding this additional description about the time and times,that instead of just saying 1260 days, I believe this means we are to translate this as literal days.

I believe that from the time that Religious Freedom is taking away in USA and Sunday laws are enforced in the World by the Beast-which is a Religious Political Powers-Papal Rome. That then all the world will be commanded to worship or suffer punishment and then death, and that the total time of this persecution will be about (3) three years and 6 months and 15 days this is the 1,290 literal days. By the way, this is also about the exact amount of time that Christ lived from His baptism to His crucifixion and then resurrection, about (3) three and half years. I believe the saints that are alive at this time will continue to minister and live as Christ did and will be persecuted and tested
as He was during this three and half years and they will be comprise of the 144,000.I believe that if we have faith and can endure weariness, delay and hunger,for about 45 more days after the 1290 days, (literal days) even though this will probably be the time that the punishment changes to the death decree for those who refuse the ‘mark of the beast’ and we will have to leave our rural country
homes and go live in the secluded hills and mountains, it will last only for only about 45 days. Then Christ will come and save us, I believe this is the 1,335 days spoken of in Dan 12: (that is 1290 days plus 45 days =1,335 days)”Blessed is he who waits and come to the one thousand three hundred and thirty-five days.”Daniel 12:12. The extra 45 days when we are persecuted, we have the
promise of deliverance from death, we will be delivered and Translated toHeaven like Christ was, but without dying. Of course this is just my interpretation, this is not an official teaching of SDA’s. And I believe the following quotes are applicable for this 45 day period-completing the 1,335
days.

“In this final time of trouble, we are not to make provision for our self but totally trust the Lord. “The Lord has shown me in vision, repeatedly,that it is contrary to the Bible to make any provision for our temporal wants in the time of trouble. ( This is referring not to the Little Time of Trouble-but rather the ‘Time of Jacob’s Trouble’ which I believe will climax during this 45 day period of the 1,335 day prophecy) I saw that if the saints have food laid up by them, or in the fields, in the time of trouble when sword, famine, and pestilence are in the land, it will be taken from them by violent hands, and strangers would reap their fields. Then will be the time for us to trust wholly in God, and He will sustain us. I saw that our bread and water would be sure at that time, and we should not lack, or
suffer hunger. The Lord has shown me that some of His children would fear when they see the price of food rising, and they would buy food andlay it by for the time of trouble. Then in a time of need, I saw them go to their food and look at it, and it had bred worms, and was full of living creatures, and not fit for use…”Houses and lands will be of no use to the saints in the time of trouble, for they will then have to flee before infuriated mobs, and at that time their possessions cannot be disposed of
to advance the cause of present truth…“I saw that if any held on to their property and did not inquire of the Lord as to their duty, He would not make duty known, and they would be permitted to keep their property,and in the time of trouble it would come up before them like a mountain to crush them, and they would try to dispose of it, but would not be able…. But if they desired to be taught, He would teach them, in a time of need, when to sell and how much to sell. In the last great conflict of the
controversy with Satan those who are loyal to God will see every earthly support cut off. Because they refuse to break His law in obedience to earthly powers, they will be forbidden to buy or sell. It will finally be decreed that they shall be put to death…. But to the obedient is given the
promise, “He shall dwell on high: his place of defense shall be the munitions of rocks: bread shall be given him; his waters shall be sure.”Isaiah 33:16. By this promise the children of God will live.” Maranatha,p. 181.4.

“A time is coming when the law of God is, in a special sense, to be made void in our land [the United States]. The rulers of our nation will,by legislative enactments, enforce the Sunday law, and thus God’s people will be brought into great peril. When our nation, in its legislative councils, shall enact laws to bind the consciences of men in regard to their religious privileges, enforcing Sunday observance, and bringing oppressive power to bear against those who keep the seventh-day
Sabbath, the law of God will, to all intents and purposes, be made void in our land…“When the land which the Lord provided as an asylum for His people, that they might worship Him according to the dictates of their own consciences, the land over which for long years the shield of Omnipotence has been spread, the land which God has favored by making it the depository of the pure religion of Christ—when that land shall, through its legislators, abjure the principles of Protestantism, and
give countenance to Romish apostasy in tampering with God’s law—it is then that the final work of the man of sin will be revealed. Protestants will throw their whole influence and strength on the side of the Papacy;by a national act enforcing the false Sabbath, they will give life and vigor to the corrupt faith of Rome, reviving her tyranny and oppression of conscience. How The Lord is using me in His Work

I want to share this testimony of how God is using me during this Global Rain Operation to share His Love and Truth! My name is Matthew J. Allen, Although I am a native of Lowell, Ma. I have lived here in Up-State New York for about the last 27 years off and on. I first left Massachusetts in 1972 for reasons beyond my control, I tell the story in my book. In-fact, the many events that happened in the book and most of the people mentioned in the book are all from either Lowell, Ma or the east coast area- nearby Up-State New York.It was later from this move to New York that I found out about Adventist and was baptised into Christ as a SDA in 1976 I was 21 years old. I am employed by the State of New York in Albany. But I am currently out of work with a physical disability injury. Now that I am home with this disability I have had time to finish my manuscript that I have been working on for the last 2 years. I wanted to be involved in this Global Rain Operation and being disabled I asked the Lord to show me what I could do to give the Everlasting Gospel Message and He impressed upon me to finish the book. It covers in great detail the four angel’s of Revelation, but it lifts up Christ as the center of it all. I asked the Lord to help me complete the book to His Glory and I completed most of it on 7/7/07 and now it is being published and promoted in book stores. So I thank and praise the Lord, that although I am physically disabled, I can still work with Him to bring love and salvation to souls and Glory to Him! A major book Publisher was impressed with the book and agreed to publish it. I chose and wanted to have a non-Adventist Publishing Company publish and promote it to get it in all book stores not just Adventist, so more non- Adventist could find the truth through it.

What Work Can We Do?

Do you want to work for the Lord?

Not everyone can be missionaries, bible workers, literature evangelist etcetera. But I do believe if we pray for guidance God will show us in our own neighborhoods what work to do in showing His love and proclaiming the gospel truths and how to do it. And since it says, …”In a large degree through our publishing houses is to be accomplished the work of that other angel who comes down from heaven with great power and who lightens the earth with His Glory… I suggest that one very effective way to do this, is to go as Literature Evangelists and help circulated these truth filled books we are publishing. “In visions of the night representations passed before me of a great reformatory movement among God’s people. Many were praising God. The sick were healed and other miracles were wrought. A spirit of intercession was seen, even as was manifested before the great day of Pentecost. Hundreds and thousands were seen visiting families and opening before them the word of God. Hearts were convicted by the power of the Holy Spirit, and a spirit of genuine conversion was manifest. On every side doors were thrown open to the proclamation of the truth. The world seemed to be lightened with the heavenly influence. Great blessings were received by the true and humble people of God. I heard voices of thanksgiving and praise, and there seemed to be a reformation such as we witnessed in 1844. {CH 580.1} Yet some refused to be converted. They were not willing to walk in God’s way, and when, in order that the work of God might be advanced, calls were made for freewill offerings, some clung selfishly to their earthly possessions. These covetous ones became separated from the company of believers.–Testimonies for the Church, vol. 9, p. 126 (1909). {CH 580.2}

I think we should pray for revival, reformation, encourage, and recruit church members to do this gospel work of canvassing as Literature Evangelist. And if you cannot do it yourself personaly (like me because of a health disability), you can financially support the work of Literature Evangelism also known as the Colporteur Ministry. We should support this work like never before and of course all other ministries teaching, working to proclaim these truths of light and love the everlasting gospel of God-Christ. I know personally about this work, I worked as a full-time LE for about seven (7) years when I was a younger man. It was the greatest work or experience I ever had in my Christian life. LE.’s are not only selling truth filled books, but they make friends with these people and for those who cannot buy books, they can give them free literature, pray for them, be friend them, help them, etcetera. The LE.’s spends each day of their working hours doing what God considers the most important work on earth, trying to help the unsaved and showing His love, light and truth to them. There is no greater work than that. They are the front-line soldiers sacrificing and working for the Lord.

In the summer of 1980 after working for about two years as a full-time LE. in the New York Conference the Lord blessed my efforts and I ended up leading the whole Atlantic Union in total sales of truth filled books and bibles sold and of free literatue given out, from out of about 200 full-time LE’s. Then the Conference President Elder Skantz at the time, Atlantic Union and New York Publishing Directors and Pastors ordained me with laying on of hands at the Union Springs, New York Camp-meeting, this was a tremendous blessings and privilege for me and as a result of this work some of the people I sold books to were baptized.

From my experience in this work, I have some suggestion on how to do this work to make it more effective in sharing the gospel, also more attractive for Church members to be willing to go forward in faith doing this great work. On a Conference level to make this work more attractive for Church members we could have a better more reasonable compensation plan for our Church members that will go forward doing this work. But also we can go out as lay-people not licensed by the Conference, praying for an organized way to bring this work to revival, but please either way, go out in faith doing this work. We should go out two by two like Christ told His disciples to do. This will also serve as some security for the women and young people that want to do this work, but are concerned about going to strangers homes. Send one who is more experienced in this work with one who is not, so there will be continual training, until that trained person can also go with someone else to train.

On a Conference organized level, compensation could be, not only commissions from the sales of the books and products, but also this could be an organized effort, each local SDA Conference could have a program and there could be a base guaranteed salary for any worker, if that worker puts in at least (35) hours per week and did not earn a minimum amount to compensate them for their expenses, needs etcetera. Also, this could become a good source of employment for many church members, part-time, full-time, retired members, our youth and part-time employment for academy and college students. Ellen White said that this work is equal to that of the ministry. Our ministers receive a salary from the tithe given to the church. It may be that our Church Leadership needs to revive this canvassing work and encourage our people with the need to be more faithful with tithes or offerings to support this work Perhaps the LE.’s could also be compensated in this way: give them a guaranteed minimum base salary that comes from tithes or offerings, only when the sales of the books did not equal a minimum amount of weekly commission agreed upon. But then if in the following weeks the LE’s sales commissions are above the minimum guaranteed base, then that extra commission earned could be deducted a little each of these weeks to pay back the base guarantee that was given to the LE when needed. Also, I suggest that we sell the smaller volumes of truth filled books and bibles, not necessarily the bigger volumes with the Mylar covers and color painting, these books are more expensive. But we need to sell Christ centered books like Patriots and Prophets, Prophets and Kings, Desire of Ages, Acts of Apostles, Great Controversy, (these five books are called the Conflict of the Ages set) also Steps to Christ, Bible Reading for the Home, children Bible books, Ministry of Healing and other well written health books could be sold and training should include medical missionary training to educate the sick people we meet And maybe sell health products-vitamins and cooking books too. But we need to make the books affordable enough for the people to buy, but also profitable enough to sell for the workers needs and expenses.

But also many Church members could buy these smaller books in paper back form from the ABC’s and sell them for a reasonable profit, going out on there own as self-supporting workers-(not licensed by the Conference), in there own cities and communities. For example, if you purchase the Conflict of the Ages set by Ellen White,these five books with the book, ”Bible Readings for the Home” included in paper back form it may cost about $25.-30. per set. If you sell this set for about $60. or each book for $10., per set that is a $30. profit, if you sell only 5 sets each day-that is $150. per day profit. But you can sell much more than 5 sets per day too! But if only 5 sets of books, per day,that is not a bad daily income for anybody and more importantly you are doing the Lord’s work and sharing your love and concern and helping those who are lost.

Now I want to share with you more about what the Lord’s Messenger has to say about this great work from the book Colporteur Ministry. Publications to Go Everywhere.–”Our publications should go everywhere. Let them be issued in many languages. The third angel’s message is to be given through this medium and through the living teacher. You who believe the truth for this time, wake up. It is your duty now to bring in all the means possible to help those who understand the truth to proclaim it. Part of the money that comes in from the sale of our publications should be used to increase our facilities for the production of more literature that will open blind eyes and break up the fallow ground of the heart.–Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 62. (1909) {CM 4.2} “There are many places in which the voice of the minister cannot be heard, places which can be reached only by our publications,–the books, papers, and tracts filled with the Bible truths that the people need. Our literature is to be distributed everywhere. The truth is to be sown beside all waters; for we know not which will prosper, this, or that. In our erring judgment we may think it unwise to give literature to the very ones who would accept the truth the most readily. We know not what may be the results of giving away a leaflet containing present truth.– Manuscript 127, 1909. {CM 4.3} “We are fast approaching the end. The printing and circulation of the books and papers that contain the truth for this time are to be our work.–Testimonies, vol. 8, p. 89. (1904) {LPHit14CM 5.1} } “To Lighten the Whole World.–The world is to receive the light of truth through an evangelizing ministry of the word in our books and periodicals.–Testimonies, vol. 9, p. 61. (1909) {CM 5.4} From our books and papers bright beams of light are to shine forth to enlighten the world in regard to present truth.–Testimonies, vol. 8, p. 87. (1904) {CM 5.5} “Successful Soul-Saving Ministry.–The canvassing work, properly conducted, is missionary work of the highest order, and it is as good and successful a method as can be employed for placing before the people the important truths for this time. The importance of the work of the ministry is unmistakable; but many who are hungry for the bread of life have not the privilege of hearing the word from God’s delegated preachers. For this reason it is essential that our publications be widely circulated. Thus the message will go where the living preacher cannot go, and the attention of many will be called to the important events connected with the closing scenes of this world’s history. {CM 6.1}

“A Work Ordained of God.–God has ordained the canvassing work as a means of presenting before the people the light contained in our books, and canvassers should be impressed with the importance of bringing before the world as fast as possible the books necessary for their spiritual education and enlightenment. This is the very work the Lord would have His people do at this time. All who consecrate themselves to God to work as canvassers are assisting to give the last message of warning to the world. We cannot too highly estimate this work; for were it not for the efforts of the canvasser, many would never hear the warning.–Testimonies, vol. 6, p. 313. (1900) {CM 6.2} (She said that God has ordained the canvassing work… The Lord has and is blessing the use of Television and radio, computers, and other electronic tools in Advent-ism in the proclamation too, of course for many years. But God has ordained the publishing work-canvassing work, I believe we should spend more resources and time reviving and doing this work that God has ordained. It may be the less expensive and most effective and practical way of proclaiming the Everlasting Gospel truths and in getting many church members involved in the Lord’s work too.)

“A Call for Revived Interest.–The importance of the canvassing work is kept ever before me. This work has not of late had the life infused into it which was once given by the agents who made it their specialty. Canvassers have been called from their evangelistic work to engage in other labor. This is not as it should be. Many of our canvassers, if truly converted and consecrated, can accomplish more in this line than in any other in bringing the truth for this time before the people. {CM 7.3} “We have the word of God to show that the end is near. The world is to be warned, and as never before we are to be laborers with Christ. The work of warning has been entrusted to us. We are to be channels of light to the world, imparting to others the light we receive from the great Light Bearer. The words and works of all men are to be tried. Let us not be backward now. That which is to be done in warning the world must be done without delay. Let not the canvassing work be left to languish. Let the books containing the light on present truth be placed before as many as possible. –Testimonies, vol. 6, p. 329. (1900) {CM 7.4} “Equal in Importance to the Ministry.–Canvassers must go out into various parts of the country. The importance of this work is fully equal to that of the ministry. The living preacher and the silent messenger are both required for the accomplishment of the great work before us.–Review and Herald, April 1, 1880. {CM 8.1} “Canvassing for our publications is an important and most profitable line of evangelistic work. Our publications can go to places where meetings cannot be held. In such places the faithful evangelistic canvasser takes the place of the living preacher. By the canvassing work the truth is presented to thousands who otherwise would never hear it.–Review and Herald, Oct. 7, 1902. {CM 8.2} “No Higher Work.–There is no higher work than evangelistic canvassing, for it involves the performance of the highest moral duties. Those who engage in this work need always to be under the control of the Spirit of God. There must be no exalting of self. What have any of us that we did not receive from Christ? We must love as brethren, revealing our love by helping one another. We must be pitiful and courteous. We must press together, drawing in even cords. Only those who live the prayer of Christ, working it out in practical life, will stand the test that is to come upon all the world. Those who exalt self place themselves in Satan’s power, preparing to receive his deceptions. The word of the Lord to His people is that we lift the standard higher and still higher. If we obey His voice, He will work with us, and our efforts will be crowned with success. In our work we shall receive rich blessings from on high and shall lay up treasure beside the throne of God. {Colporteur Ministry p. 12.1}

Also, as we go forward in faith praying for the Latter Rain of the Holy Spirit we will be empowered to go forth doing this great work enlightening the world with the glory of God.! We need to pray, encourage and work together for revival of the canvassing work to get more men, women and young adults to become Literature Evangelist and in other lines of gospel work to such as bible workers, medical missionaries-health educators etcetera.

“I saw jets of light shining from cities and villages, and from the high places and the low places of the earth. God’s word was obeyed, and as a result there were memorials for Him in every city and village. His truth was proclaimed throughout the world.” Testimonies, vol. 9, pp. 28, 29. De ce s-a stabilit tocmai data aceasta - 7-07-07?
Fixarea datei 7-7-07 nu are nici un fel de semnificaţie profetică. În încercarea noastră de a alege o dată de început şi una de sfârşit, ne-am gândit că această dată, fiind în acelaş timp şi un Sabat, ar putea fi o minunată culminare a evenimentului global. Repetăm, nu există nici o semnificaţie profetică în această dată.
Oare nu este aceasta o fixare nepermisă de dată?
Nu mai mult decât fixarea unei date pentru adunarea de tabără (camp meeting). Precizăm din nou că nu există nici o semnificaţie profetică în această dată (6-27-07 to 7-07-07), şi nici nu s-a fixat vreo dată pentru revărsarea Spiritului.
Şi dacă nu se va întâmpla nimic? Nu s-a pus oare temelia pentru o altă mare dezamăgire?
Din nou trebuie să spunem că noi n-am fixat nici o dată pentru revărsarea Spiritului şi nici nu spunem că ceva TREBUIE să se întâmple în timpul acestui eveniment. Se poate că noi, ca biserică, să nu fim gata pentru revărsarea Spiritului. Vă aduceţi însă aminte că cei patru leproşi, prinşi între o sâncă şi un loc tare, au zis: “La ce să şedem aici până vom muri?” (vezi 2 Împăraţi 7:3-4). Deci, în loc să rămânem unde suntem, de ce să nu ne umilim şi să vedem ce A PUTUT Domnul să facă pentru noi? Dacă suntem deja gata, în stare să ne suim şi să luăm în posesie ţara, de ce mai zăbovim aici, îngrijorându-ne de ceea ce ne-ar putea face “uriaşii” (dezamăgirea etc.) cărora noi le vom putea face faţă prin puterea lui Dumnezeu?
Ellen White a spus: “Nu este necesar să ne îngrijorăm cu privire la Ploaia Târzie. Tot ceea ce noi trebuie să facem este să ne păstrăm vasul curat, şi într-o poziţie corectă, pregătiţi pentru primirea ploii cereşti şi să continuăm să ne rugăm: “Lasă Ploaia Târzie să vină în vasul meu. Lasă lumina gloriosului înger, care se uneşte cu cel de al treilea înger, să lumineze asupra mea; acordă-mi o parte în lucrarea Ta; permite-mi să vestesc proclamaţia; lasă-mă să fiu un conlucrător cu Isus Hristos.” Căutând pe Dumnezeu în felul acesta, El vă va pregăti, dându-vă harul Său.

Răspunsul poate veni în mod brusc şi cu putere copleşioare, sau poate întârzia zile şi săptămâni, şi atunci credinţa noastră trece printr-o încercare. Dumnezeu cunoaşte desigur mai bine cum şi când să răspundă la rugăciunile noastre. Partea noastră este de a lucra să ne amplasăm într-o bună conecţie cu canalul divin. Dumnezeu este responsabil pentru partea Sa de lucru. Desigur că El este credincios în ceea ce privişte împlinirea făgăduinţelor Sale. Marea şi importanta problemă cu privire la noi este să fim o inimă şi un gând, punând la o parte toată invidia şi ranchiunul şi, şi ca umili petiţioneri, să veghem şi să aşteptăm. Isus, Capul şi Reprezentantul nostru, este gata să facă pentru noi, ceea ce a făcut şi pentru cei care s-au rugat şi au vegheat în ziua Cincizecimii.” 3SP 272 (1878).

Este Biserica cu adevărat gata pentru acest eveniment?
Noi nu ştim. Bisericii îi revine sarcina să decidă, prin acţiunile şi răspunsul nostru, care este răspunsul ei la această întrebare.

În afară de aceasta, rugăciunea nu poate niciodată să fie dăunătoare pentru poporul lui Dumnezeu. Rugăciunea nu ne dăunează în nici un caz. Noi lăsăm lui Dumnezeu să-Şi facă partea Sa, iar noi să fim credincioşi în ceea ce priveşte partea noastră. (Vezi 2 Cron. 7:13-14)

1. Trezeşte-te, ridică-te, luminează! - (Tematici pentru cele 10 zile) -

2. Mai adânc, mai aproape, mai înalt - (Tematici pentru cele 10 zile) -

Evrei 10:18-23– „Dar acolo unde este iertare de păcate, nu mai este nevoie de jertfă pentru păcat. Astfel dar, fraţilor, fiindcă prin sângele lui Isus avem o intrare slobodă în Locul prea sfânt, pe calea cea nouă şi vie, pe care ne-a deschis-o El, prin perdeaua dinlăuntru, adică trupul Său: - şi fiindcă avem un Mare Preot pus peste casa lui Dumnezeu, să ne apropiem cu o inimă curată, cu credinţă deplină, cu inimile stropite şi curăţite de un cuget rău, şi cu trupul spălat cu o apă curată. Să ţinem fără şovăire la mărturisirea nădejdii noastre, căci credincios este Cel ce a făcut făgăduinţa.”

„Lucrătorii lui Dumnezeu trebuie să obţină o experienţă mult mai adâncă. Dacă ei se vor preda cu totul Lui atunci El va lucra pentru ei cu puterea Sa divină. Ei vor fixa drapelul adevărului pe fortăreţele deţinute până atunci de Satana, şi cu strigăte de biruinţă ei le vor lua în stăpânire.
Ei poartă cicatricele luptei, dar acolo ajunge la ei solia mângâietoare că Domnul le va arăta drumul pentru a continua să cucerească.” CM 155

Înlăturând orice neînţelegeri, orice dorinţă de întâietate, ei s-au adunat laolaltă, într-o strânsă comuniune creştină. Ei se apropiau mai mult şi tot mai mult de Dumnezeu şi, făcând acest lucru, au înţeles ce privilegiu avuseseră de a li se îngădui să aibă o atât de strânsă legătură cu Isus.” – AA 37

Luca 24:15.32 – „Pe când vorbeau ei şi se întrebau, Isus S-a apropiat şi mergea pe drum împreună cu ei… Şi ei au zis unul către altul: ‚Nu ne ardea inima în noi, când ne vorbea pe drum, şi ne deschidea Scripturile?’”

3. Iertarea - (Tematici pentru cele 10 zile) -

Mat 6:14-15 – Dacă iertaţi oamenilor greşelile lor, şi Tatăl vostru cel ceresc vă va ierta greşelile voastre. Dar dacă nu iertaţi oamenilor greşelile lor, nici Tatăl vostru nu vă va ierta greşelile voastre.

Ioan 13:35 – Prin aceasta vor cunoaşte toţi că sunteţi ucenicii Mei, dacă veţi avea dragoste unii pentru alţii.

Iubiţi-vă unii pe alţii.
Egoismul şi mândria împiedică iubirea curată care ne uneşte în spirit cu Isus Hristos. Dacă această iubire este cultivată cu adevărat, mărginitul se va combina cu mărginitul şi toţi se vor centra în Nemărginit. Omenescul se va uni cu omenescul şi astfel se vor lega cu toţii de Iubirea Nemărginită. Dragostea sfinţită a unuia pentru celălat este sacră. În această mare lucrare creştină, iubirea dintre unii şi alţii – mult mai înaltă, mai constantă, mai manierată, mai neegoistă, decât a fost văzută în trecut – întreţine delicateţea creştină, binefacerea şi amabilitatea creştină, şi înveleşte frăţia umană cu îmbrăţişarea lui Dumnezeu, recunoscând demnitatea cu care Dumnezeu a înzestrat drepturile omului. Creştinii trebuie să dezvolte mereu această demnitate spre onoarea şi slava lui Dumnezeu. - 5BC 1140.6
Unicul Fiu al lui Dumnezeu a recunoscut nobleţea fiinţei umane prin faptul că a luat asupra lui natura omenească şi a murit în folosul neamului omenesc, mărturisind de-alungul secolelor că “atât de mult a iubit Dumnezeu lumea, că a dat pe singurul Său Fiu, pentru ca oricine crede în El, să nu piară ci să aibă viaţa veşnică.” - Letter 10, 1897 {5BC 1141.1}

Cea mai mare amăgire.

– Adevărata sfinţire îi uneşte pe credincioşi cu Hristos şi pe unii cu alţii în relaţii de simpatie grijulie. Această unire face să curgă continuu în inimă torente bogate de iubire asemănătoare cu aceea a lui Hristos, care se manifestă apoi în dragostea dintre unii şi alţii. Calităţile pe care este esenţial să le posede toţi, sunt acelea marcate de către plinătatea carcaterului lui Hristos – dragostea Sa, răbdarea Sa, altruismul şi bunătatea Lui.

Este cea mai mare şi o fatală amăgire să crezi că un om poate avea credinţă ca să moştenească viaţa veşnică, fără să posede în acelaş timp şi o iubire pentru fraţii săi, asemănătoare cu aceea a lui Hristos. Cel care iubeşte pe Dumnezeu şi pe aproapele său este umplut cu lumină şi dragoste. Dumnezeu este în el şi peste tot în jurul lui. Creştinii îi iubesc pe cei din jurul lor ca fiind suflete preţionase pentru care a murit Hristos. Nu există un adevărat creştin fără iubire; pentru că “Dumnezeu este iubire”, “şi prin aceasta ştim că Îl cunoaştem, dacă păzim poruncile Lui. Cine zice: Îl cunosc şi nu păzeşte poruncile Lui, este un mincinos, şi adevărul nu este în el. 1 Ioan 2:3.4 - 5BC 1141
Apostolul Petru a venit la Domnul Hristos cu întrebarea: “Doamne, de câte ori să iert pe fratele meu, când va păcătui împotriva mea? Până la şapte ori?” Rabinii limitau acordarea iertării până la trei ori. Apostolul Petru, îndeplinind - după părerea lui - învăţătura Domnului Hristos, a gândit să extindă acordarea iertării până la “şapte ori” numărul desăvârşirii. Dar Domnul Hristos ne-a învăţat că nu trebuie să obosim iertând. “Eu nu-ţi zic până la şapte ori, ci până la şaptezeci de ori câte şapte.” - COL 243
Iată motivul în baza căruia noi ar trebui să exercităm milă faţă de cei păcătoşi ca şi noi. “Dacă astfel ne-a iubit Dumnezeu pe noi, trebuie să ne iubim şi noi unii pe alţii.” 1 Ioan 4,11. “Fără plată aţi primit, fără plată să daţi.” Matei 10,8. - COL 245
În parabolă, când datornicul s-a rugat să fie păsuit, cu promisiunea: “Mai îngăduieşte-mă, şi-ţi voi plăti”, sentinţa a fost revocată, întreaga datorie a fost iertată şi imediat, i s-a oferit ocazia ca să urmeze şi el exemplul stăpânului său care l-a iertat. Ieşind de la împărat, el a întâlnit pe un tovarăş al său de slujbă, care îi datora o mică sumă de bani. Lui i se iertase o datorie de zece mii de talanţi; datornicul său îi datora numai o sută de lei. Dar el, care a fost tratat cu atâta milă, s-a comportat cu tovarăşul său de lucru într-un mod cu totul diferit. Datornicul său a făcut un apel identic cu acela pe care el personal l-a adresat împăratului, dar fără un rezultat asemănător. El, care fusese de curând iertat, n-a avut o inimă plină de milă şi iertare. Mila ce i-a fost acordată el n-a dat-o pe faţă în comportamentul său cu tovarăşul lui de lucru. El n-a răspuns rugăminţii ce i-a fost adresată de a fi îndurător. Mica sumă de bani ce-i era datorată, era tot ceea ce avea în minte acest slujitor nerecunoscător. El pretindea tot ceea ce gândea el că i se cuvine, şi a adus la îndeplinire o sentinţă asemănătoare aceleia care, în mod aşa de binevoitor, fusese anulată în dreptul său. - COL 245
Cât de mulţi, astăzi, dau pe faţă un spirit asemănător. Când datornicul a cerut stăpânului său milă, el n-avea simţământul real al enormei lui datorii. El nu a înţeles starea lui disperată. El spera să găsească singur o cale de scăpare. “Mai îngăduieşte-mă, şi-ţi voi plăti”, spunea el. Tot astfel, sunt foarte mulţi aceia care nădăjduiesc ca prin propriile lor fapte să capete favoarea lui Dumnezeu. Ei nu-şi dau seama de starea lor deznădăjduită.
Ei nu acceptă harul lui Dumnezeu, ca un dar, fără de plată, ci încearcă să clădească pe îndreptăţirea de sine. Inimile lor nu se zdrobesc şi nici nu se umilesc din cauza păcatului, iar faţă de alţii sunt severi şi neiertători. Comparate cu păcatele fraţilor lor săvârşite faţă de ei, propriile lor păcate împotriva lui Dumnezeu, sunt ca zece mii de talanţi, faţă de o sută de lei - aproximativ unu, faţă de un milion; şi totuşi, ei îndrăznesc să fie neiertători…
Cel care refuză să ierte leapădă propria sa nădejde de a fi iertat. – COL 245-246
Ioan 20:21-23 – Isus le-a zis din nou: “Pace vouă! Cum M-a trimis pe Mine Tatăl, aşa vă trimit şi Eu pe voi.” După aceste vorbe, a suflat peste ei, şi le-a zis: “Luaţi Duh Sfânt!” Celor ce le veţi ierta păcatele, vor fi iertate; şi celor ce le veţi ţinea, vor fi ţinute.

Aici noi observăm că Spiritul lui Dumnezeu era deja dat când Hristos le-a reamintit despre iertare. De aceea singura cale prin care un om poate ierta aşa cum a iertat Isus este să posede umplerea cu Spiritul Sfânt! De ce nu renunţăm la amărăciune şi supărare? De ce să nu permitem chiar astăzi Spiritului Sfânt al lui Dumnezeu să intre în viaţa noastră şi să ne Elibereze de incapacitatea de a ierta pe cei care ne-au jignit sau ne-au nedreptăţit.

4. Mărturisirea şi Pocăinţa - (Materiale pentru cele 10 zile) -

Fapte 3:19 – Pocaiţi-vă dar, şi întoarceţi-vă la Dumnezeu, pentru ca să vi se şteargă păcatele, ca să vină de la Domnul vremurile de înviorare.

O minunată manifestare a puterii lui Dumnezeu urmează să aibă loc în biserica lui Dumnezeu, dar aceasta nu va fi primită de aceia care nu s-au umilit pe ei înşişi înaintea Domnului, şi n-au deschis uşa inimii lor prin mărturisire şi pocăinţă. – Mar. 219.1
Trebuie să fie o lucrare de reformă şi pocăinţă. Toţi să caute revărsarea Spiritului Sfânt. Aşa cum a fost în cazul ucenicilor după înălţarea la cer a lui Hristos, aceasta poate necesita câteva zile de căutare a lui Dumnezeu şi este deasemenea necesară îndepărtarea păcatului. Când poporul lui Dumnezeu este influenţat de către Spiritul Sfânt, ei vor manifesta un zel ce este în perfect acord cu cunoştinţa… Ei vor reflecta lumina dată de-a lungul anilor de către Dumnezeu. Spiritul de critică va fi îndepărtat. Plini de spiritul umilinţei, ei vor fi “cu un cuget” (Fapte 1:14), uniţi unul cu altul şi cu Hristos. – ML 58.4
Astăzi există o mare nevoie de acest fel de pocăinţă şi mărturisire, adică acelea făcute cu sinceritate şi din toată inima. Aceia care nu şi-au umilit sufletele înaintea lui Dumnezeu, recunoscând vinovăţia lor, încă nu au împlinit prima condiţie pentru a fi acceptaţi de Dumnezeu. Dacă n-am experimentat acea pocăinţă, de care nu vom ajunge să ne căim, şi dacă n-am mărturisit păcatul cu o adevărată smerire a sufletului şi cu zdrobire a sufletului, urând din toată inima nelegiuirea noastră, atunci noi n-am căutat niciodată cu adevărat iertarea păcatului; şi dacă n-am căutat aceasta niciodată, înseamnă că noi n-am găsit niciodată pacea lui Dumnezeu. Singura cauză pentru care noi n-am obţinut iertarea pentru păcatele noastre din trecut este faptul că noi nu suntem dispuşi să ne umilim inimile noastre mândre şi să ne conformăm condiţiilor cerute de Cuvântul adevărului. În privinţa aceasta ne sunt date instrucţiuni foarte clare. Mărturisirea păcatului – făcută în public sau în particular[1] – trebuie să fie sinceră şi exprimată în mod liber. Ea nu trebuie impusă păcătosului. Ea nu trebuie făcută într-un mod superficial şi nepăsător şi nici nu trebuie să fie obţinută cu sila de la aceia care n-au înţeles carcaterul respingător al păcatului. Mărturisirea care este însoţită de lacrimi şi întristare, şi care este o revărsare din adâncul inimii, doar acea mărturisire îşi găseşte calea către Dumnezeul milostivirii infinite. Psalmistul spune: “Domnul este aproape de cei cu inima înfrântă şi mântuieşte pe cel cu duhul zdrobit” - 5T 636.2

În adevăr, când întristarea este după voia lui Dumnezeu, aduce o pocăinţă care duce la mântuire, şi de care cineva nu se căieşte niciodată; pe când întristarea lumii aduce moartea.
Sub inflenţa Spiritului, cuvintele de căinţă şi mărturisire se amestecau cu cântări de laudă pentru păcatele iertate… Mii au fost convertiţi într-o singură zi. - LDE 185.1

[1] Adevărata mărturisire are totdeauna un caracter deosebit şi recunoaşte păcatul pe nume. Păcatele pot fi de o aşa natură încât trebuiesc mărturisite numai lui Dumnezeu; pot fi din cele ce trebuie să fie mărturisite celor cărora le-am adus vătămare, sau pot avea un caracter public şi deci va trebui să fie mărturisite public. Dar oricum ar fi mărturisirea, ea trebuie să fie categorică, bine definită şi la subiect, recunoscând pe nume păcatele de care cel greşit s-a făcut vinovat… Dacă păcătosul nu se supune puterii convingătoare a Duhului Sfânt, el rămâne aproape orb faţă de păcatul său. Atunci mărturisirea sa nu este sinceră şi nici serioasă. Pentru fiecare păcat recunoscut el prezintă o scuză, declarând că dacă n-ar fi fost anumite împrejurări, el n-ar fi făcut aceasta sau aceea pentru care este mustrat… Spiritul îndreptăţirii de sine îşi are originea în tatăl minciunii şi a fost dat pe faţă de toţi fiii şi fiicele lui Adam. Mărturisirile de acest fel nu sunt inspirate de Duhul Sfânt şi nu vor fi primite de Dumnezeu. Adevărata pocăinţă va conduce pe păcătos să-şi vadă vinovăţia şi s-o recunoască fără viclenie sau ipocrizie. – Calea către Hristos, cap. 4

5. Foamea şi setea de neprihănire - (Tematici pentru cele 10 zile) -

“Ferice de cei flămânzi şi însetaţi după neprihănire, căci ei vor fi săturaţi.” – Matei 5:6

“Domnul aşteaptă să reverse Spiritul Său peste toţi cei care înfometează şi însetează după neprihănire” – CW 118
“Ferice de cei flămânzi şi însetaţi după neprihănire”. Simţământul de nevrednicie va face inima să flămânzească şi să înseteze după dreptate şi dorinţa aceasta nu va fi dezamăgită. Aceia care fac loc lui Isus în inima lor Îi vor simţi iubirea. Toţi aceia care doresc să ajungă la un caracter asemănător cu al lui Dumnezeu vor fi satisfăcuţi. Niciodată Duhul Sfânt nu lasă neajutorat pe cel care-L caută pe Isus. El ia din lucrurile lui Hristos şi i le descoperă. Dacă ochiul este aţintit asupra lui Hristos, lucrarea Duhului nu încetează până când sufletul nu ajunge să aibă chipul Lui. Elementul curat al iubirii va face sufletul să crească, dându-i destoinicia să ajungă la ţinte mai înalte şi să aibă cunoştinţe mai mari în lucrurile cereşti, aşa încât el nu va rămâne lipsit de plinătate. ‘Ferice de cei flămânzi şi însetaţi după neprihănire, căci ei vor fi săturaţi.’” (DA 302).
“Privind la tine tu poţi vedea că eşti păcătos şi chiar ruinat, dar tocmai această situaţie arată că tu ai nevoie de un Mântuitor. Dacă ai păcate de mărturisit, nu pierde timpul. Aceste momente sunt aur. “Dacă ne mărturisim păcatele, El este credincios şi drept, ca să ne ierte păcatele şi să ne curăţească de orice nelegiuire.” – 1 Ioan 1:9. Cei care înfometează şi însetează după neprihănire, vor fi săturaţi, pentru că Isus a promis aceasta. Preţios Mântuitor! Braţele Sale sunt deschise ca să ne primească şi marea inimă iubitoare aşteaptă ca să ne binecuvinteze.” - FW 37-38.
“Neprihănirea este sfinţenie, asemănare cu Dumnezeu, şi “Dumnezeu este dragoste.” – 1 Ioan 4:16. Ea este armonizare cu legea lui Dumnezeu, pentru că “toate poruncile Tale sunt drepte” [ sau “neprihănite” – versiunea engleză NIV – n.tr.], şi “dragostea este împlinirea Legii.” – Romani 13:10. Neprihănirea este dragoste, şi dragostea este lumina şi viaţa lui Dumnezeu. Neprihănirea lui Dumnezeu este întrupată în Hristos. Noi primim neprihănirea primindu-L pe El.” – FLB 109
“Pegătiri ample sunt făcute de Hristos ca să satisfacă sufletul ce înfometează şi însetează după neprihănire.” – FLB 152
“Cei care înfometează şi însetează după neprihănire vor fi săturaţi pentru că Isus a promis aceasta. Preţios Mântuitor! Braţele Sale sunt deschise ca să ne primească, şi marea Sa inimă iubitoare aşteaptă ca să ne binecuvinteze. – AG 139
“Dacă ai un simţământ de nevoie în sufletul tău, dacă flămânzeşti şi însetezi după neprihănire, aceasta este o dovadă că Hristos a lucrat asupra inimii tale, cu scopul ca El să poată fi căutat spre a face pentru tine, prin înzestrarea cu Spiritul Sfânt, tocmai acele lucruri pe care îţi este imposibil să le faci pentru tine prin propria ta putere.” – AG 217
“Dacă vei merge la lucru, aşa cum Hristos a plănuit pentru ucenicii Săi, şi vei câştiga suflete pentru El, tu vei simţi o nevoie de o mai adâncă experienţă şi cunoaştere a lucrurilor divine şi în felul acesta tu vei înfometa şi vei înseta după neprihănire. Tu vei implora pe Dumnezeu, credinţa ta va fi întărită şi sufletul tău va bea din apele adânci ale izvoarelor mântuirii. Întâmpinarea opoziţiei şi încercărilor te va conduce la Biblie şi la rugăciune. Tu vei creşte în har şi în cunoaşterea lui Hristos, şi vei avea parte de o bogată experienţă spirituală.” – AG 305
“Să înţelegem slăbiciunea omului, şi să vedem unde el cade în mulţumirea sa de sine. Noi vom fi atunci cuprinşi de o dorinţă de a fi exact ceea ce Dumnmezeu doreşte să fim – neprihăniţi, nobili şi sfinţiţi. Noi vom înfometa şi înseta după neprihănirea lui Hristos. A fi asemenea lui Dumnezeu va fi singura dorinţă a sufletului nostru. Aceasta este dorinţa care a umplut inima lui Enoh. Şi noi citim că el a umblat cu Dumnezeu. El a studiat caracterul lui Dumnezeu cu un anumit scop. El nu şi-a hotărât singur direcţia de mers în viaţă şi nu a urmat propria sa voinţă… El s-a străduit să-şi însuşească asemănarea cu Dumnezeu la caracter. Nu există nici o scuză pentru defecte sau descurajare, pentru că toate promisiunile harului ceresc sunt făcute pentru cei care flămânzesc şi însetează după neprihănire. Intensitatea dorinţei ce este reprezentată prin înfometare şi însetare este o garanţie pentru faptul că lucrurile dorite vor fi date.” – AG 317

Ceea ce avem nevoie şi ne este indispensabil, este Spiritul lui Dumnezeu care să lucreze împreună cu eforturile noastre. Tot ceea ce răsfaţă eul nostru personal, trebuie să ia sfârşit. Trebuie să aibă loc un dor fierbinte, o înfometare a sufletului după prezenţa Domnului. “Ferice de cei flămânzi şi însetaţi după neprihănire, căci ei vor fi săturaţi.” – ST. 1883 -05-17.014

Pentru noi este o problemă de viaţă şi de moarte. Noi am fost loviţi de o paralizie spirituală şi fiecare dintre noi are nevoie de ajutorul Marelui Medic. Numai El poate rezolva cazul nostru. ŞI El aşteaptă să-L invităm cu o dorinţă sinceră şi din toată inima. Nimic altceva nu se cere de la noi decât o pregătire a inimii, şi rugăciune serioasă şi plină de credinţă, pentru ca Isus să poată interveni ca să ne ajute cu puterea Sa divină. El doreşte foarte mult să vină. Dacă vom asculta glasul Său şi vom deschide uşa, El va intra înăuntru.” - GW 225-226.
“Spiritualitatea copiilor lui Dumnezeu este slava lor în ochii Lui. Acesta este semnul distinctiv care îi separă de restul lumii… Noi trebuie să înfometăm şi să însetăm după neprihănire ca să putem reprezenta pe Hristos în lume. Dacă iubirea Sa locuieşte în inimile noastre, faptul acesta va fi descoperit în mod vizibil. Noi trebuie să fim lumini care luminează în lume. Hristos chiamă pe fiecare urmaş al Său ca să descopere în faţa lumii calităţile carcaterului Său, să-L reprezinte în cuvinte şi fapte şi să facă cunoscut iubirea Lui.” - RC 124.
“Dumnezeu pretinde de la noi o ascultare desăvârşită de legea Sa, care este reprezentarea carcaterului Său. “Deci prin credinţă desfiinţăm noi Legea? Nicidecum. Dimpotrivă, noi întărim Legea.” – Romani 3:31. Această Lege este ecoul glasului lui Dumnezeu, care ne spune: “Mai sfânt, da, şi încă mai sfânt. Doreşte plinătatea harului lui Hristos; da, doreşte – înfometează şi însetează după neprihănire. Şi promisiunea este că “vei fi săturat.” Lăsaţi inimile voastre să fie umplute cu o intensă dorinţă după neprihănire, a cărei lucrare – spune Cuvântul lui Dumnezeu – este pacea, iar urmarea ei este liniştea şi siguranţa veşnică.” - 3SM 202-203.

“Noi avem nevoie de o mai adâncă înfometare a sufletului după darurile bogate pe care cerul trebuie să le dea. Noi trebuie să înfometăm şi să însetăm după neprihănire. O, de am avea dorinţa care să ne consume pentru cunoaşterea lui Dumnezeu printr-o cunoaştere experimentală, practică, şi pentru venirea în camera de audieţă a Celui Prea Înalt, întinzând mâna credinţei şi depunând sufletele noastre neputincioase în mâna Celui puternic pentru a fi salvate. Bunătatea Sa plină de iubire este mai de preţ decât viaţa.” - SD 121.

6. Unitatea - (Tematici pentru cele 10 zile) -

Ioan 17:11 “Eu nu mai sunt în lume, dar ei sunt în lume, şi Eu vin la Tine. Sfinte Tată, păzeşte, în Numele Tău, pe aceia pe care Mi i-ai dat, pentru ca ei să fie una, cum suntem şi noi.”

“Această grijă pentru supravieţuirea bisericii care se observă de-alungul secolelor ne dă explicaţia pentru tonurile de îngrijorare ale rugăciunii lui Isus. El ştia că dacă biserica nu va reuşi să-şi arate unitatea în faţa lumii, ea nu va reuşi să-şi realizeze misiunea, pentru că în cazul acesta lumea ar avea un motiv ca să nu creadă evanghelia (vers. 21.23). Potrivit cu rugăciunea lui Isus, cea mai convingătoare dovadă cu privire la adevărul evangheliei este unitatea palpabilă a urmaşilor Săi” - Gilbert Bilezikian.

Nici unul dintre membrii Divinităţii nu a lucrat vreodată independent de ceilalţi doi. Ei acţionează într-o armonie desăvârşită. Divinitatea este părtăşie perfectă. Fiinţa sau esenţa lui Dumnezeu este unitatea, la fel cum este şi iubirea.

Genesa 1:26-27
“Apoi Dumnezeu a zis: “Să facem om după chipul Nostru, după asemănarea Noastră; el să stăpânească peste peştii mării, peste păsările cerului, peste vite, peste tot pământul şi peste toate târâtoarele care se mişcă pe pământ. Dumnezeu a făcut pe om după chipul Său, l-a făcut după chipul lui Dumnezeu; parte bărbătească şi parte femeiască i-a făcut.”

Dumnezeu a spus: “Să facem om după chipul Nostru, după asemănarea Noastră”. El a creat pe om ca să se asemene foarte mult cu El Însuşi. Omenirea este creată în asemănare cu Trinitatea Divină şi de aceea ea este chemată să trăiască în unire, aşa cum Trinitatea Divină trăeşte într-o unire perfectă. Această imagine nu este o imagine de singurătate. Oamenii nu au fost creaţi ca să trăiască singuri; noi am fost creaţi ca să trăim în unire unul cu altul şi cu Dumnezeu.

Satana cunoaşte foarte bine că succesul poate veni numai ca o urmare a ordinii şi acţiunii armonioase. El ştie bine că toate lucrurile ce au legătură cu cerul sunt într-o poerfectă ordine, că supunerea sau dependenţa şi disciplina desăvârşită marchează mişcările oastei îngereşti. Este efortul său bine studiat de a conduce pe cei care mărturisesc că sunt creştini cât mai departe posibil de rânduiala şi unirea cerească; de aceea el amăgeşte chiar pe cei care mărturisesc că fac parte din poporul lui Dumnezeu şi-i face să creadă că ordinea şi disciplina sunt duşmanii spiritualităţii, că singura siguranţă pentru ei este ca fiecare să-şi continue propria sa cale şi să rămână separaţi de organizaţiile creştinilor care sunt uniţi şi lucrează pentru stabilirea disciplinei şi armoniei în acţiune sau comportare.
Toate eforturile care sunt făcute pentru stabilirea ordinei sunt considerate periculoase, ca fiind o restricţie a dreptului la libertate şi de aceea de temut la fel ca şi papistăşia (catolicismul). Aceste suflete înşelate consideră ca o virtute faptul de a se lăuda cu libertatea lor de gândire şi de acţionare în mod independent. Ei nu vor să primească un aşa zice omul. Ei nu sunt ascultători de nici un om. Mi s-a arătat însă că este lucrarea specială a lui Satana de a conduce pe oameni să creadă că rânduiala lui Dumnezeu este ca ei să se descurce singuri şi să-şi aleagă propria lor cale independentă faţă de fraţii lor.” {TM 29.1}

“Dumnezeu nu are un număr mare de instituţii, clădiri mari şi lucruri făcute de paradă, ci acţiunea armoniaosă a unui popor deosebit, ales de Dumnezeu şi preţios în ochii Săi, uniţi unul cu altul, viaţa lor fiind ascunsă cu Hristos în Dumnezeu. Fiecare urmează să stea la locul său, exercitând o bună influenţă prin gândire, vorbire şi comportare. Când toţi lucrătorii lui Dumnezeu vor face lucrul acesta, şi nu mai devreme decât atunci, lucrarea Lui va fi un întreg complet şi simetric. {8T 183.2}
”Metodele şi planurile după care trebuie făcută lucrarea trebuie să fie după rânduiala Domnului, nu după propriile voastre păreri, iar rezultatele vor face mai mult decât doar să compenseze cheltuiala. Efortul misionar se va extinde, iar exemplul unui lucrător zelos, care lucrează în direcţia cea bună, va inflenţa şi pe alţii care, de asemenea, vor porni să predice Evanghelia. Spiritul misionar va trece din casă în casă, iar fraţii vor avea altceva mai interesant de dicutat decât despre necazurile lor. Ei vor avea plăcere să prezinte nestematele adevărului pe care le conţine Biblia şi vor fii înfiinţate biserici, vor fi ridicate case de adunare şi mulţi vor veni în ajutorul Domnului. Fraţii vor fi uniţi în legăturile iubirii şi vor înţelege că sunt uniţi cu creştinii cu experienţă din toate părţile lumii, pentru că sunt una în planuri şi una în obiectivele intereselor lor. Un pas făcut înainte de către cei din conducerea lucrării va fi simţit de cei din această ţară şi din toate ţările, iar cei din ţări străine vor răspunde efortului făcut la centrul lucrării, urmându-L pe marele nostru Conducător; şi astfel prin convertirea sufletelor la adevăr, se va aduce slavă Aceluia care şade pe tron.” {FE 208.1}

“Trebuie să se înţeleagă faptul că unitatea perfectă dintre lucrători este necesară pentru realizarea cu succes a lucrării lui Dumnezeu. În scopul de a păstra pacea toţi trebuie să caute înţelepciunea care vine de la Marele Învăţător. Toţi trebuie să aibă grijă de felul cum îşi aduc în discuţie propunerile lor ambitioase care vor crea disensiuni.” {9T 196.3}
“Noi trebuie să fim dependenţi sau supuşi unul faţă de altul. Nici un om, în sine însuşi, nu este un întreg complet. Prin supunerea minţii şi voinţei noastre conducerii Spiritului Sfânt noi vom deveni ucenici care învaţă de la Marele Învăţător.” {9T 196.4}

”Studiaţi capitolul 2 din Faptele Apostolilor. În biserica primară Spiritul lui Dumnezeu a lucrat cu putere prin aceia care au fost uniţi în mod armonios. În Ziua Cincizecimii ei au fost toţi de comun acord în acelaş loc.” {9T 196.5}

Noi trebuie să demonstrăm lumii că oameni din fiecare naţionalitate sunt una în Isus Hristos. Să înlăturăm deci orice barieră şi să intrăm uniţi în serviciul Maestrului.

”Unitatea care există între urmaşii lui Hristos este o dovadă a faptului că Tatăl a trimis pe Fiul Său ca să mântuiască pe păcătoşi. Ea este o dovadă a puterii Sale; deoarece nimic mai puţin decât minunata putere a lui Dumnezeu nu poate aduce fiinţele omeneşti, cu temperamentele lor diferite, laolaltă într-o lucrare armoniasă, unica lor ţintă fiind rostirea adevărului în iubire.” {9T 194.2}
”Mântuitorul nostru Îşi continuă lecţiile Sale de instruire cu promisiunea că dacă doi sau trei se unesc pentru a cere ceva lui Dumnezeu, acel lucru le va fi dat. Hristos arată aici că trebuie să existe unire cu ceilalţi, chiar şi în dorinţele noastre pentru un anumit lucru. Mare importanţă este acordată rugăciunii unite şi uniiri în acelaş scop. Dumnezeu aude rugăciunile personale, dar Isus a dat în această ocazie lecţii deosebite şi importante care urmau să fie de un real folos bisericii de pe pământ ce fusese organizată de curând. Trebuie să existe un acord asupra lucrurilor pe care ei le doresc şi pentru care se roagă. În cazul acesta nu sunt doar gândurile şi cererile unei singure minţi supuse amăgirii, ci cererea reprezintă dorinţa serioasă a mai multor minţi care se concentrează asupra aceluiaş punct.” {3T 429.1}

“Domnul doreşte ca servii Săi aleşi să înveţe cum să se unească într-un efort armonios. S-ar putea să pară unora că contrastul între darurile lor şi darurile conlucrătorilor lor e prea mare pentru a le îngădui să se unească într-un effort armonios, dar când îşi aduc aminte că sunt de câştigat minţi diferite, şi că unii vor respinge adevărul lui Dumnezeu, aşa cum este prezentat de un lucrător, numai ca să-şi deschidă inima faţă de adevărul lui Dumnezeu, când e prezentat într-un chip diferit de un alt lucrător, ei se vor strădui să lucreze împreună cu nădejde şi în unire. Talentele lor, oricât de diferse, pot fi toate sub controlul aceluiaşi Duh. În orice cuvânt şi faptă se vor da pe faţă bunătate şi iubire; şi când fiecare lucrător îşi ocupă cu credincioşie locul care i-a fost rânduit, rugăciunea lui Hristos pentru unitatea urmaşilor Lui va primi răspuns, şi lumea va şti că aceştia sunt ucenicii Lui.” {9T 145.1}

Psalm 133:1-2 “Iată, ce plăcut şi ce dulce este să locuiască fraţii împreună! Este ca untdelemnul de preţ, care, turnat pe capul lui, se pogoară pe barbă, pe barba lui Aaron, se pogoară pe marginea veşmintelor lui.”

Fapte 2:1-4 “În Ziua Cincizecimii, erau toţi împreună în acelaş loc. Deodată a venit din cer un sunet ca vâjâitul unui vânt puternic, şi a umplut toată casa unde şedeau ei. Nişte limbi ca de foc au fost văzute împărţindu-se printre ei, şi s-au aşezat câte una pe fiecare din ei. Şi toţi s-au umplut de Duh Sfânt, şi au început să vorbească în alte limbi, după cum le da Duhul să vorbească.”
