What We Did Today

07-07-07 is past, Camp meeting is past and every one was asking me, now what? between March and July we had met to pray not only at prayer meeting but also on Sabbath afternoon. Every time I had gone to the Lord asking for guidance, I had come up with silence. But today as time moved on, I thought, I’m gonna miss going to church. I asked my husband what he envisioned and he too had no ideas. I called the head elder and asked him what he saw. He said, “Let’s go to church and pray and pick an area of town to prayer walk. So I called up a number of people. Most everyone had other plans but 6 of us got together. We sang Go Light Your World, had a few prayers, and picked a territory. We had decided to all go together three and three on each side of the street. We walked and prayed out loud based on what we saw in yards. If we saw someone outside we went up and prayed with them. \Some people were kinda nervous when we asked permission to pray with them but most were quite pleased. One young man, Tony, has had a cancerous kidney removed and looks to go under the knife this week on the other. Hopefully they can repair it. He said he was not a praying person but he got up from his lawn chair and grabbed our hands. Under a bridge the man found a dozen homeless men, high on alcohol and other drugs, with a fight about to begin. The men asked for material to read, and they wanted it in Spanish so the guys took it to them. WE spent about an hour there and made 15 or 20 contacts.
My mother used to say it is hard for God to guide your efforts when you are in neutral so this was our effort to do something. We plan to go back to the same place every week. Please pray for our little group.
Also pray for the chat room contacts that we are still making. It seems we are having trouble recently getting on at the same time to share and support the people who do not have others locally who feel a burden for OGR.
Yours in the Blessed Hope,
Shining
What is so Important about the Sign of Jonah that it Should Be the Only Sign?

The other day the Lord blessed me with making a discovery re the sign of the prophet Jonah that I never knew before. I found it as a result of making an in depth study of Matthew 28:1 and Mark 16:2 after having for years been pondering the exact wordage of Matthew 12:40. Please follow the link to learn more as Yahweh leads each of us onwards, ever onwards, and closer to Himself!
Praise the Lord! Yahweh be His name!
Please pray that each one of us may do as Noah did and look into the eyes of God and recognize the true characteristics of our beingness! (Genesis 6:8.)
Some Thoughts on OGR Last Day 7-7-07

Thoughts On OGR Last Day 7-7-07
and Unity, Love & Forgiveness.
If you were to know me years ago before I had the privelege to know Christ as I do now.You would know that I did not talk about love or show much love, even in my own family, we men thought that we were too masculine to show or talk about love and I came from a long line of masculine men, and grew up hard, cold and unemotional. I am still A masculine man, and still not emotional, but I love to talk about love, but not emotional love, but agape -Christlike Love! And now I cannot talk about anything else as much as I do the Love of God the Father and our Elder Brother Jesus has for us, and the love we need to have for every brother and sister on earth, we are a family adopted by God the Father. To me this genuine love is only a gift of God, and is evidence of God’s existence and gives real credibility that the Bible is not just a book written by men, it has to be inspired of God. Mankind has never loved like the Lord Jesus, and in our human-sinful fallen natures we cannot love like Christ whom even loved His enemies. So this is more evidence that the Bible is of Divine origin and not just put together by men. How could selfish, self centered unloving humans invent a book about a loving God. They did not, it is of God!!! God is Love! “The evil thoughts, the evil words, the evil deeds of every son and daughter of Adam, called for retribution upon Himself; for He had become man’s substitute. Though the guilt of sin was not His , His spirit was torn and bruised by the transgressions of man, and He who knew no sin became sin for us, that we might be made the righteousness of God in Him.” 1 Selected Messages, p.322 “For you know the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ. That though He was rich, yet for your sake He became poor, so that by His poverty you might become rich.” 2 Corinthians 8:9
“Christ was treated as we deserve, that we might be treated as He deserves. He was condemned for our sins, in which He had no share, that we might be justified by His righteousness, in which we had no share. He suffered the death which was ours, that we might receive the life which was His.” Desire Of Ages, p.25.
“Such love is without a parallel. Children of the heavenly King! Precious promise! Theme for the most profound meditation! The matchless love of God for a world that did not love Him! The thought has a subduing power upon the soul and brings the mind into captivity to the will of God, the more we study the divine character in light of the cross, the more we see mercy, tenderness, and forgiveness blended with equity and justice, and more clearly we discern innumerable evidence of a love that is infinite and a tender pity surpassing a mother’s yearning sympathy for her wayward child.” Steps To Christ pg 6.
It was a Blessing to participate in the OGR and I especially enjoyed the remarks by all the pastors on 7-7-07 as they answered question and shared there thoughts on the latter Rain experience. I especially enjoyed Pastor Ivor Myer’s closing message and even before he finished the message or defined what he meant by the death will bring… and the cross… my mind kept ringing with the thoughts that our death (spiritual death of course) will bring Christ glory in us and it is when we take up our cross daily and allow Christ to crucify our-selves, then His glory-love will be seen in us more abundantly and we will become more unified in that genuine love.. Our greatest battle is with self, we want to be right, we do not want to be offended and we want to be recognized and justify our actions, defend our self’s! But it is self we must die to, it is this spiritual death that will bring spiritual life in Christ. “The new birth is a rare experience in this age of the world. This is the reason why there are so many perplexities in the church. Many, so many, who assume the name of Christ are unsanctified and unholy. They have been baptized, but they are buried alive, self did not die, and therefore they did not rise to newness of Life in Christ.” 6–SDA. Bible Commentary p. 1075.
I use to think that I only need to forgive someone if they apologized to me and asked for forgiveness, even as an Adventist I thought that. But the Lord is helping me to grow in His love and His word says: “Take heed to yourselves. If your brother sins against you, rebuke (correct) him; and if he repents, forgive him. And if he sins against you seven times in a day, and seven times in a day returns to you, saying, ‘I repent,’ you shall forgive him.” Luke 17:3,4. “If a brother errs, forgive him if he asks you. If he is not humble enough to ask, forgive him in your heart, and express your forgiveness in word and action. Then the weight of his sin will not in any degree rest on you. ‘Considering thyself, lest thou also be tempted.’…And we are not only to forgive seven times, but seventy times seven. Just as often as God forgives us, we are to forgive another…”One man is never to say to another, ‘When I see that you have reformed, then I will forgive you.’ This is not God’s plan…By showing that you do not desire fellowship with your brother, you not only hurt his soul and your own, but you also wound and bruise the heart of Christ.” Review and Herald 4-8-1902.
CHRIST LIKENESS NEEDED
“I saw that the lord has given you light and experience, that you might see the sinfulness of a hasty spirit and control your passions. So surely as you fail to do this, just so surely you will fail of everlasting life… “You have repeatedly said: I can’t keep my temper. I have to speak.’ You lack a meek, humble spirit. Self is all alive, and you stand guard continually to preserve it from mortification or insult. Says the apostle: For we are dead, and your life is hid with Christ in God.’ Those who are dead to self will not feel so readily and will not be prepared to resist that which may irrate. Dead men cannot feel. You are dead. IF you were and your life hid in Christ, a thousand things which you now notice, and which afflict you, would be passed by as unworthy of notice, you would then be grasping the eternal and would be above the petty trials of this life… Jesus, when reviled, abused, and insulted, did not retaliate… but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously… We dishonor Him when we become jealous of every slight, and are ready to resent every injury, supposed or real. It is not an evidence of a noble mind to be prepared to defend self, to preserve our own dignity. We would better suffer wrongfully a hundred times than wound the soul by a spirt of retaliation, or by giving vent to wrath.” 2 Testimonies, p. 424-427. “Jesus did not contend for his rights. Often His work was made unnecessarily severe because He was willing and uncomplaining. Yet He did not fail nor become discourage. He lived above these difficulties as in the light of God’s countenance. He did not retaliate when roughly used, but bore insult patiently.” Desire of Age 89
It is because of His never failing love for you that Christ would endure all things for you. He reveals His love toward us and give us an example of how to reveal love one for another and if He so loves us should we also show this same example of love to all? By His Spirit His mind His character can abide in you, pray for it, desire it above all other things and you will by faith receive it! “For this is commendable if because of conscience toward God one endures grief, suffering wrongfully.”… For to this you were called, because Christ also suffered for us, leaving anexample, that you should follow His Steps..Who when He was reviled, did not revile in return; when He suffered, He did not threaten, but committed Himself to Him who judges righteously…” 1Peter 2: 19,21,23. “Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus,..He humbled Himself and became obedient…Therefore God also has highly exalted Him and given Him the name which is above every name.” Philippians 2:5,-9.
“Wearing Nerves on the Outside.–Those who criticize and condemn one another are breaking God’s commandments and are an offense to Him. They neither love God nor their fellow beings. Brethren and sisters, let us clear away the rubbish of criticism and suspicion and complaint, and do not wear your nerves on the outside. Some are so sensitive that they cannot be reasoned with. Be very sensitive in regard to what it means to keep the law of God and in regard to whether you are keeping or breaking the law. It is this that God wants us to be sensitive about.”–GCB, Apr 1, 1903 (7 Bible Commentary - 937.) {2MCP 637.4}
“The manner in which truth is presented often has much to do in determining whether it will be accept or rejected. It is to be regretted that many do not realize that the manner in which Bible truth is presented has much to do with the impressions made upon minds, and with the Christian character afterward developed by those who receive the truth. Instead of imitating Christ in His manner of labor, many are severe, critical and dictatorial. They repulse instead of winning souls. Such will never know how many weak ones their harsh words have wounded and discouraged.” Evangelism p. 168.
“Jesus has given us an His life and example of pity and love for the erring. While He fearlessly reproves sin, he regards the sinner with compassion… Let us recall His words, ‘Love one another as I have loved you.” Review and Herald Vol. 1, p. 304.
“Jesus did not suppress one word of truth, but, He uttered it always in love. He exercised the greatest tact and thoughtful kind attention in, His intercourse with the people. He was never rude, never needlessly spoke a severe word, never gave needless pain to a sensitive soul. He did not censure human weakness, He spoke the truth, but always in love, He denounced hypocrisy, unbelief, and iniquity; but tears were in His voice as He uttered His scathing rebukes… Such is the character of Christ as revealed in His life. This is the character of God. It is from the Father’s heart that the streams of divine compassion, manifest in Christ, flow out to the children of men. Jesus the tender, pitying Savior, was God manifest in the flesh.” 1Tim 3;16, Step To Christ. p.4.
“Though all these evidences have been given, the enemy of good blinded the minds of men, so that they looked upon God with fear; they thought of Him as severe and unforgiving, Satan led men to conceive of God as a being whose chief attribute is stern justice-one who is a severe judge, a harsh, exercising creditor, He pictured the Creator as a being who is watching with jealous eye to discern the errors and mistakes of men, that He may visit judgements upon them. It was to remove this dark shadow, by revealing to the world the infinite love of God, that Jesus came to live among men.” .- Steps To Christ p.2
“Self– righteousness not only leads men to misrepresent God, but makes them cold hearted and critical toward their brethren. The elder son,( In Luke 11: story of the prodigal son) in his selfishness and jealously, stood ready to watch his brother, to criticize every action and to accuse him for the least deficiency. He would detect every mistake and make the most of every wrong act. Thus he would seek to justify his own unforgiving spirit. Many today are doing the very same thing. While the soul is making its very first struggles against a flood of temptations, they stand by, stubborn, self–willed, complaining, accusing. They may claim to be children of God, but they are acting out the spirit of Satan. By their attitude toward their brethren, these accusers place themselves where God cannot give them the light of His countenance.”
“When you see yourselves as sinners saved only by the love of your heavenly Father, you will have tender pity for others who are suffering in sin. You will no longer meet misery and repentance with jealousy and censure. When the ice of selfishness is melted from your hearts, you will be in sympathy with God and will share His joy in the saving of the lost.” COL. p. 86. 1st John 4:8. “
…And the very ones who claim sanctification, have in their hearts insubordination, pride, envy, jealousy, and evil surmising of their brethren. They sit as judges upon the life and character of their brethren. These are the fruits generally to be found growing upon the tree of false sanctification. This class have graduated. They suppose they have come to the knowledge of the truth. If they attend camp-meetings, they will think they are so far ahead of the servants of God who labor in the meetings that they cannot learn anything, therefore the word or message of instruction God gives his servants for the people is not for them. They will generally be found drawing one or two away, holding them in conversation, imparting to them the great light they suppose they have; and thus some are deprived of hearing the message of God to the people… As children in the family of God we need the wisdom and experience of matured Christians to direct, to encourage, and to defend us in times of danger, and to lead on to constant growth in grace, and to seek daily attainments in the knowledge of the truth and true holiness. {ST, October 23, 1879 par.8}
Powerful Statements
“There is no hope for the success of any religious organization where criticism is cherished as a fine art, and called spiritual discernment. Men might far better be blind to others’ faults than to be inspired by that keen, detective spirit that will watch for defects in those whom the Lord loves, and through whom He works. We all need to humble ourselves, not to have an exalted idea of self . .” {Upward Look 28.2}
” Lose sight of all others except Christ. We want Christ in our humanity, and Christ wants to abide in us. We are human and fallible, every one of us, and unless Christ is formed within, the hope of glory, we shall make wonderful blunders in estimating our fellow workers according to our pattern and measurement. God sees beneath the surface. He sees all the good, and He marks all the evil. Leave to Him the work of passing judgment on your brethren.” {Upwood Look 28.3}
“Respect and Love One Another.–If we keep uppermost in our minds the unkind and unjust acts of others, we shall find it impossible to love them as Christ has loved us; but if our thoughts dwell upon the wondrous love and pity of Christ for us, the same spirit will flow out to others. We should love and respect one another, notwithstanding the faults and imperfections that we cannot help seeing. Humility and self-distrust should be cultivated, and a patient tenderness with the faults of others. This will kill out all narrowing selfishness and make us largehearted and generous.”–Steps To Christ 121 (1892). {2 MCP 635.3}”Forgive your brother from your heart.” Matthew 18:35 (every male is your brother and every female your sister) “Let all bitterness, wrath, anger, clamor, and evil speaking be put away from you, with all malice. And be kind to one another, tenderhearted, forgiving one another, even as God in Christ forgave you.” Ephesians 4:31,32 Maybe even church members have wounded you or neglected to show you love when you needed it. This has happen to me too! Forgive them, and pray for them, God is teaching you not even to depend on church members for love, forgive them. But only in Him is there never failing love, your dependence must only be in Christ. “He who refuses to forgive is thereby casting away his own hope of pardon.” (COL 247), Christ Object Lessons, p.247. “It is true that he may once have received forgiveness; but his unmerciful spirit shows that he now rejects God’s pardoning love. He has separated himself from God, and is in the same condition as before he was forgiven…” COL p.251. “Put on then, as God’s chosen ones, holy and beloved, compassion, kindness, lowliness, meekness, and patience, forbearing one another and, if one has a complaint against another, forgiving each other; just as the Lord has forgiven you, so you also must forgive. And above all these put on love, which binds everything together in perfect harmony. And let the peace of Christ rule in our hearts, to which indeed you were called in the one body. Colossians 3:12-15. May this be our experience: “I am crucified with Christ: nevertheless I live; yet not I, but Christ lives in me: and the life which I now live in the flesh I live by the faith of the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself for me.” Gal 2:20.
…”Again, a new commandment I write unto you, which thing is true in him and in you: because the darkness is past, and the true light now shines. He that says he is in the light, and hates his brother, is in darkness even until now. He that loves his brother abides in the light, and there is none occasion of stumbling in him. But he that hates his brother is in darkness, and walks in darkness, and knows not whither he goes, because that darkness hath blinded his eyes.” 1 John 2:2-11. “…Love suffers long, and is kind; love does not envy; love does not exalt itself, is not puffed up, Does not behave itself unseemly, seeks not her own, is not easily provoked, does not think evil about others; Rejoices not in wrong doing, but rejoices in the truth; Bears all things, believes all things, hopes all things, endures all things. Love never fails: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away… For now we see through a glass, darkly; but then face to face: now I know in part; but then shall I know even as also I am known. And now abides faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love.” 1st Corinthians 13:2-13.
Blessings, Matthew
My Next Prayer: Teach Me Ever More Fully the Meaning of Each Word in the Scriptures!
Posted by: PowerOfChoice | Thu, Jul 12, 2007 7:34 pm | Tag(s): Prayer Requests | Write Comment | Permalink |
Praise the Lord for answer to prayer! Plans and decisions have been made for continuing this web site and to make a continuance on Operation Global Rain. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you, Lord of Hosts!
My next prayer is that I, and all of us, should continue to grow into an ever fuller understanding and realization of the many blessings in store for each and all of His Sons and Daughters within each and every word in the Holy Scriptures.
I believe God is wishing to use each and everyone of us as a tool towards this purpose.
God is the Creator of a multi-dimensional universe. I have no doubt but that most of us have realized new and additional lessons of light from time to time in one and the same text passage or even in one and the same word. Sharing these experiences with one another through witnessing certainly multiplies these blessings, do they not?
Here are a few of the most striking realizations the Lord has been opening my eyes to over the years:
- - -
The cross:
Something or someone that stands straight up for the God of Truth.
[ In Hebrew - cf. Strong’s Dictionary - the last letter of the alphabet, tav, is also a word meaning ’sign’ or ‘cross.’ In Greek the first letter in the word Christ ‘χ‘ looks like a cross, or don’t you agree? But, more importantly, the root meaning of the Greek word translated ‘cross’ is ‘to stand straight up.’ ]
- - -
Abel:
The meaning of the Hebrew name Abel is ‘worthlessness’ or ‘vanity.’ This realization was a great surprise for me! But it taught me a lot of things.
One of the differences between the sacrifices of Cain and Abel was that one was an apparent act of worship following the exterior format of God’s word while sadly missing the point of the inherent lesson. The consequence naturally being that of also losing the intended blessing. Thus in effect Cain’s sacrifice, in my mind, may be best characterized as an empty ritual. That is, doing something that is just a wee bit off from the original instructions such that the correct strings of my mind is not set in motion and I fail to get the gist of that still small voice.
Abel sacrificed and burned that which to me symbolizes empty, skewed, and meaningless acts of worship. That is, Abel burned up - got rid of - that which is worthless and vain in thought, word and action. - And was blessed by so doing!
- - -
Sin:
To miss the point.
[ The Greek word translated ’sin’ is given by Strong’s as ‘to miss the mark.’ ]
Notice the close connection between the focal point of this word, sin, and the lesson I learned from the name ‘Abel’ above!
- - -
Ceremonial:
An empty ritual. A word or act never ordained by God.
What is forever to be nailed to the cross? What is forever to be burned into nothingness by the ever cleansing fire of the God of truth and understanding - of the God that Is and of that which is what it is?
What ceremonial laws are forever to be nailed to the cross? The ordinances designed by God to be forever a true tuning fork teaching and tuning us towards the music, harmonies, and frequencies of the Creator? Or all such thoughts, words, and acts of habit and tradition as have little more value than did the ritual sacrifice of Cain?
How does this apply to the words of God spoken in Leviticus 23? Does any eternal word, spoken by God and expressly stated to remain “forever,” ever burn until it is no more? Or is it our missed points, our misunderstandings, that are to burn until they exist no more?
What is the point of being oriented to God’s own time? Does music, harmony, and the beauty of nature have anything to do with time? Do you know of anyone being disoriented to time? Does it make a difference?
Do we have anything to lose by timing our get togethers, our ‘holy convocations,’ in accord with the instructions in Leviticus 23? If we do, is that the same as suggesting that we should also introduce the same or similar meaningless rituals as has through time, ever since Cain and Abel, only led to meaningless bloodshed and loss of true and real value, and so many of the countless blessings forever intended to each and every one of us by our Maker?
This quarter’s Sabbath School Quarterly is entitled: “For Better of for Worse.” The Feast of Tabernacles to the Hebrew mind has everything to do with the Wedding ceremony between God the Father and His Bride, that is God the Father becoming one with His People, His Church. Individually we are created for being the Sons and Daughters of God, but all of us taken together constitutes something more, a creature of somewhat different nature, our Mother Church. And the One and only Head of that Household is God the Father, is He not? Each of us are to be tuned in accord with the will of the Father. How else can our Mother ever even hope to be in harmony and peace while in a happy and joyful marriage with our Father? How else can our Mother and our Father ever even hope to both be at the same time at the same place while dating together?
Does recognizing the true biblical timing for the Day of Trumpets, the Day of At-One-Meant, the Feast of Tabernacles, and the Eighth Day have any value? Will we ever know the difference if we never give it a try? What blessings may we be missing out on if we keep on believing that some of God’s eternal ordinances and teaching tools have been “nailed to the cross?”
Could we be in danger of killing Able, our beloved brother? Could it be that Able represents the true Sons and Daughters of God who “stands straight and upright” for the truths of their convictions while step by little step following the Light as given them as they are each little by little and day by day being anointed by the oil of the Holy Scriptures?
What will happen to the American People - “Am-erica-n” may be derived from words meaning “People of Kings” - if they, we, fail to recognize the difference between our Father in Heaven and her that is created to stand “beside” Him, being one with Him, but not before Him? In this context, could it be that I am perceiving a little bit clearer the meaning of the words:
“Thou shalt have no other gods before me?“

Our Lord in Heaven, our Maker,
My prayer at this time is that your Sons and Daughters, and especially those of us who are Seventh-day Adventists, will be able to communicate by means of this web site, such that we may be able to learn and grow ever closer to You who are our Maker - as well as closer also to one another.
In the name of Yeshua who leads each of us step by little step towards the solution of each and all of our problems, Yeshua our Saviour, I pray…
Amen!
Avoiding the Brain Washing of Public Media - Praise the Lord!

Praise the Lord for having guided the church in Grand Blanc in Michigan!
Especially I wish to thank the Lord for showing all of us some of the blessings we can anticipate by closing our eyes and our ears to the ever destructive mixture of good and evil present in the daily propaganda sent our way by those who desire to lead all of us to our ultimate demise, to unhealth, to the destruction of our families, and generally to all that which is being described by the Third Angel in Revelation 14:9-11.
In my personal and professional experience as a physician I can think of no one factor influencing more people more severely towards unhealth in all areas of their lives than the constant exposure to anything and everything in the public media! And that certainly includes the News and most or all children’s programs, almost all of which are subtly saturated with political conditioning and lies that most everyone is unable to detect. Certainly these fruits from the Tree of Knowledge of Good and Evil also includes all public schools and such private schools as allow Governmental bodies to control their teaching. We must learn not to trust the words spoken by the dragon through any one of the many departments of our Babylonian States, must we not?
What we need in the place of all this trash is time together within each of our families. Doing things as a family. Talking. Sharing. Relating. Not passively in front of a Public Media conditioning TV tube, but, while ever learning, becoming ever more pro-active, building upon the dreams our Creator is sowing into each of our hearts and each of our minds.
May our Creator bless each of our families abundantly as each our family becomes more like the God of whom it was once created to be the one and only image ever given any one of us!
Praise the Lord, our one and only Creator and owner!

Tuning my mind to the frequency of the Creator
When I was at our church on Sabbath I suddenly got a vivid impression regarding the reality and importance of tuning my attention to God’s frequency:
How much can I see of my desired television broadcast if I am not tuned to the correct frequency?
What will I see on my screen if I am not tuned into the frequency of the One and Only Creator God?
- My screen will be black or covered by a greyish noise, will it not? Or worse, if I am tuned into one of the powerful transmitters of the enemy while trusting that station as if they are telling me the truth of God, then I will without doubt fall for their deception and their war propaganda, will I not?
What will be the end result if I stay tuned into the wrong frequencies? If there is only one frequency that provides the guidance towards the Kingdom of God and eternal life and health, will I not then suffer of ill health and eventually die like everyone else who is tuned into those frequencies of the enemy?
And when I am dead, will my screen not remain black and totally senseless?
Please Lord, help me tune in to your frequency first thing every day and every moment of my life!

Refreshed, Revived, Renewed!

Operation Global Rain was a much anticipated and awesome spiritual refreshing for our church in Grand Blanc, Michigan. I heard about OGR from a fellow ARISE grad and immediately knew this is something our church would want to participate in. Grand Blanc church is evangelistic minded, active with soul winning and only 5 years young. We met every night eagerly anticipating the blessings God had in store for us and we were not disappointed!
Our group joyfully discovered that God sent a few non-Adventists looking for a true spiritual blessing our way. A new church member brought her neighbor who was impressed that she wanted to interceed in prayer with fellow Christians. She came the second night and every night after that. When we finished the last OGR session, she tearfully told us she wants to join our regular midweek prayer meetings. Another church member brought a new found friend suffering from acute depression and she felt great relief and peace after we had prayer with her. A church member’s 13 year old daughter who is not attending church came one evening and prayed she wanted to come back to church again and more often even though she lives apart with her mother who doesn’t support her faith.
The young people in our church also received the Holy Spirit’s power in their lives. A fifteen year old that goes to public school prayed she’d be a bold and true witness to her peers next year. Two kids agreed that their family would fast from TV during OGR and found they didn’t miss it much at all. This was inspired from the challenge presented the first night that throughout OGR, those willing would fast from all secular media. Additionally, all our church leadership committed to a juice fast the last 3 days. We felt impressed to live more in tune with our wonderful Health Message from here on.
Overall, many who came and participated shared how much they were being led more and more as each night progessed, that they have need of a stronger devotional life, study the Bible faithfully, pray more and regularly and get active and bold with their witnessing. We are preparing for our fall evangelistic series and most of us each have a list of 10 names we are praying for to win to Christ this year. OGR has really deepened our commitment to proclaiming the 3rd angel’s message. On Sabbath morning, an appeal was given for stewarship. Ten families came forward to trust God with doubling their tithes and offerings. A couple others repented and will start returning tithe faithfully. God was moving in our hearts to place our all on His altar and provide generously for His cause.
Also, after the last session we had an anointing service. Ten persons came forward asking for healing, consecration and the Holy Spirit’s power in their ministries. (Notice was given a few days before to prepare our hearts accordingly.) We already have 2 miracles within 24 hours - someone who suffered from severe migraines woke up this morning without a headache. He can’t remember that last time he awoke without one. A dear octonegarian asked for healing of a big bleeding sore on her hip and clarity of mind. She had gone to her doctor last week and was told it could take weeks, even months to heal. Within an hour of the anointing, she went home and the sore fell off. Her daughter immediately came back to the church to tell a few of us who were still there this wonderful news. The lady has also been very forgetful, but on her way home she made some comments to the daughter that were unusually coherent and keys she’s left somewhere. Her daughter has been skeptical of our doctrines but is now seriously contemplating joining our church.
The Lord has indeed manifested His power in our midst and we are convinced that He is leading His people to a higher experience when we make ourselves willing and available.
Thank you Heavenly Father, for Operation Global Rain.

Please keep in your prayers our churches here in Southern California. We have so much challenges we face daily that we fervently need the divine guidance of the Holy Spirit. Pray for Unity in the hearts of man and child that we may be effect leaders in finishing the work in these last days. Let us continue to pray without ceasing for one another. Praise God for OGR and what it is doing for each church, company and home that is participating. Let’s keep the incense rising!

Greetings! We want to say hello to all 1801 members. And the Lord adds daily. Hallelujah! We have been meeting nightly and have been so wonderfully blessed by the Lord. We look forward to praising, worshipping, and praying nightly just as The Way did. We also broke bread together and fellowshipped afterwards. The best parts were always when the Holy Spirit unveils the eyes of one or more members each night. One example is what one already knew or have heard, but it was a night of reckoning for her (true understanding). It was like a soundless jolt of lightning. HE is so gentle when that’s what we need. We had many moments when our group would deliberately pause to allow someone to meditate on the Word of God or certain passages of EGW. And one of them was this. She kept meditating in the divine fact that a person does not ordain man to preach the Good News, but that God is The One who ordained those who already believe! It was an “uh-huh” moment. So she prayed and we came in agreement to cast out the spirit of timidity and blessed her instead that she be blessed with the spirit of boldness and with God’s love in her heart share the Good News with others at her workplace . We asked the Holy Spirit to help her. It may sound so simple, but we rejoiced out loud and we considered it a victory once again over Satan’s trickeries. Praise be to Him…He is Jehovah Nissi.
Our nights are filled with His joy because of His sweet presence. Our hearts are glad because of the other testimonies we have read from the postings. And we continue to pray for those who have requested. We have a God who never sleeps!
In the name of Jesus, we praise You, O God, for you are the Lord of Heaven’s Armies. Our Refuge and our Strong Tower. You Reign. You Rock! The Mighty Loving Father God! To You belongs all glory, honor, wisdom, blessings, riches, and power!
Blessings to all,
WET GLOBE
