Please pray for my wife

Posted by: Paulmack | Sat, May 19, 2007 10:47 am | Tag(s): Prayer Requests | Permalink |

I am asking Gods people worldwide to pray for my wife who was baptised last year and has since wandered from God and has left me and God.  Please pray for her, I know the power of corporate prayer.

Many thanks

Paulmark, I pray that God will put emnity between your wife and suggestions and attitudes generated by the devil and that He will provide for all your needs. -dd k

The Husband, more than the Wife, is created for being the “house-band” that protects and guards their mutual covenant and relationship. I never heard of a woman being properly called a husband or house-band. What tools has God given men, that women do not have, that makes us more apt to protect and guard our relationships from attacks, whether from the outside or the inside, whether from others, or from me?

Do I consider carefully each tool given me by my Creator for carrying out His most important objectives for me?

If my wife leaves me and God, what challenges is in that for me? What may God desire to teach me through such an utterly earth shaking event as indeed the separation of any family is?

What or who is God always giving me 100% control over? Me and my own choices? Or, those of my spouse?

Do spouses ever tend to mirror the characteristics of one another?

Yes indeed, let us all kneel together as men and women and desire from our Creator the solutions to all these challenging relationships! Let’s deal with these issues, not run away from them - or from our families!

Consider Malachi’s last two verses! Consider the covenant between male and female and how it mirrors the covenant between God the Father and His Wife - the Church as reflected by Genesis 1:26-28!

Selah! Consider it!

An example:

How much of the Enemy’s war propaganda am I responsible for bringing into my very own family? If one of the prime purposes for that propaganda is to create fear and lack of trust between men and women, then am I standing upright and remaining awake upon the post of duty given me by my creator? Or whose side am I on?

What can I do - or stop doing - in order to guard my beloved family?

How hard is it to stop doing a bad thing?

How hard is it to never begin doing a bad thing?

Selah!

God is in the business of Saving Souls! And He is not a failure! Keep praying for the armour of God to be her protection (as found in Eph 6). Pray for each specific part of that armour to cover her.
Then make every effort to “clean” your house of anything, great or small, that may give the enemy entrance into your home. Do this with earnest prayer for guidance by God’s Holy Spirit, and do as He impresses you.
May God bless you and restore your marriage. ec
